“Well have to say I have had a result – very chuffed! Spent ages yesterday on internet and phone and no one seemed interested other than to replace the screen. All said I was wasting my time in trying to get it removed. A lot of hard work very time consuming and poor result. However today spoke to Steve who is the local Area Manager for Glass Doctors To my surprise he then went to his car mixed up some more in a small bottle and gave it to me at no cost. About an hours work at home and now scratch free !!! excellent result as thought I would have to get screen replaced. So thats the proof it can be done. To be fair the scratch was not that deep but caught on your finger nail and was about 2mils wide and in an arch of about 15 inches right in line of sight. I spent ages trying to clean it out before I discovered it was a scratch. He is Novus trained and shares a machine so if it had been worse he would still have been able to deal with it but I think quite expensive. Thanks for replies guys much appreciated.
